Technology giant Google announced its Android Q mobile platform at its I/O 2019 developer’s conference . It gave us more details about what we can expect from the upcoming mobile platform. Android Q beta 3 comes with the much-awaited system-wide Dark Mode that reduces strain on users’ eyes and helps in saving the device’s battery life. In addition to this, there are a number of options that help users enhance privacy on their smartphone.
Before the final version of Android Q comes out later this year, the company will be rolling out the third beta update which will have most of its features. Google has said that the Android Q Beta 3 update has been rolled out to 21 smartphones from thirteen companies. In India, 13 out of these 21 smartphones are available. If you have any one of them, you can download the latest Android beta update on them right away.
To get the latest Android Q Beta 3 on your handset, head to android.com/beta. If you are a Pixel smartphone user, you can enrol your handset on the Android Beta programme to receive an over the air update of the Android Q Beta build.

1.Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL
Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL were launched by the company in October 2018 and they are the current flagship smartphones of the company. The photography-centric smartphones have got the beta update in the first batch itself.
2.Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL
We completely expected them to be on this list since the made by Google smartphones is only one generation old. You can register to get the over the air update of Android Q beta 3.
3.Google Pixel and Pixel XL
If you own the first generation of Google’s Pixel smartphones – Pixel or Pixel XL – you would be happy to know that the company will be rolling out the update to the two handsets. You can continue to use them for now, as they will be updated with the latest mobile platform.
OnePlus 6T is the Chinese smartphone brand’s flagship smartphone. The company has really started rolling out Android updates timely to its handsets for some time now. So, it was expected that it will be getting the Android Q beta 3 too.
5.Realme 3 Pro
This is another reason to buy the recently launched Realme 3 Pro smartphone. This is probably the only budget smartphone on the list which will be getting the update.
6.Huawei Mate 20 Pro
The photography-centric Huawei Mate 20 Pro smartphone from Huawei was launched last year and it comes with a triple rear camera module. The fact that it is getting the Android Q Beta 3 is just another reason for you to buy it.
Vivo Nex is the company’s 2018 flagship smartphone and it comes with a pop-up selfie camera. The device runs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor and Android Q will make it even more powerful.
8.Asus Zenfone 5Z
Asus launched the Zenfone 5Z smartphone last year to compete with OnePlus 6. The company is also keeping the handset updated as it will be getting the latest beta update of Android Q.
Considering that all Nokia smartphones are a part of Google’s Android One program, we were completely expecting Nokia 8.1 to be on this list. In fact, once the stable version of the Android Q gets rolled out, most Nokia devices will get the update.
10.Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 (5G)
The most high-end smartphone by Xiaomi – Mi Mix 3 (5G) – will also be getting the Android Q Beta 3 update.
